[New comment on Serious stufff on Sunday morning.]

Paula the Surf Mom has left a new comment on your post "Serious stufff on Sunday morning":

Bob if you could be so kind as to post this to the deleted post blog for that 'gentleman' who would have Ray 'kick Ronnie's ass'

N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-277.3. Stalking. 1991. Amended 2003.

A person who commits the offense of stalking when there is a court order in effect prohibiting similar behavior by that person is guilty of a Class H felony. (c) Definition. -- For the purposes of this section, the term "harasses" or "harassment" means knowing conduct, including written or printed communication or transmission, telephone or cellular or other wireless telephonic communication, facsimile transmission, pager messages or transmissions, answering machine or voice mail messages or transmissions, and electronic mail messages or other computerized or electronic transmissions, directed at a specific person that torments, terrorizes, or terrifies that person and that serves no legitimate purpose.

Serious stuff on Sunday morning

Not sure why this always seems to happen on Sunday morning. Please read these posts before you continue.
Queen of the Surf Pirates
Outer Banks Real Estate
I support Paula and Ronnie in this crusade. There is a very real attempt to intimidate bloggers on the Outer Banks and it must stop. I will not be intimidated and I will not allow this site to be used for bullying anyone I will continue to enforce my Code of Conduct and I will continue to post comments that I choose not to accept to the deleted posts blog. I will support any local blogger who feels threatened for expressing their opinion or for not bowing in the face of pressure and threats. Our ability to expresses ourselves freely and without fear demands nothing less.

Now a message to the author of Outer Banks Republic. You are not responsible for this problem. The bully is. I suspect that your first response will be to stop blogging feeling this will make the problem for Paula and Ronnie go away. Your wrong, it won't, the bully will simply find new focus and continue his mean spirited campaign. If you stop blogging you let him win. I hope you won't do that and I know that it is not what Paula or Ronnie want to see either. Beat the bullies by blogging not backing out.

[Outer Banks Real Estate] Comment from Darth - Bullies Never Win - Beachhuggers on the Outer Banks

Ronnie,
You are an internet "player" who is being "played" to the hilt.
Would 65 year old/pot-bellied Ray Midgett kick your ass if you got in his face? You can bet your sweet booty he would. Keep it up if you want to find out.
Now, post this for what few readers you have who really gives a chit about your fun and games.
You should be spending more of your time trying to improve your business and moving out of that rat-hole you call an office.

[Fwd: [View from the Ridge] New comment on Va. Pilot: No Turning Back on Norfolk Beaches - S....]

Overwash has left a new comment on your post "Va. Pilot: No Turning Back on Norfolk Beaches - S...":

bobobx

Don't you find it to be a bit cynical that Harry Simmons would use the ASBPA's announcement of the so-called "top nourished beach for 2007" to
charge $$$ for his expertise(?) in beach preservation?
If there ever was an opportunist, this guy is one. Agree?

[Outer Banks Real Estate] Ray Midgett Comment

Comment from Ray Midgett on Pancho Villa Blog

Do yourself a favor, Ronnie; and delete this whole thread.  And, while you are at it, send me an email and tell me how "Poncho is dealing with the BeachHuggers" as you stated.
And, by the way, its interesting to note that you and Poncho both use gmail.com.  Just kidding, of course.

Comment from Overwash about OBR

Thanks for pointing us to the OBXRepublic website. We really enjoy reading the various versions of posts on the site. First the writer, clearly stone drunk, writes a post; and the next day sobers up somewhat; and rewrites and/or deletes part of the entry. This person is sick, sick, sick. Frankly, he's quite scarey...especially in light of what happened at VaTech this week. Heaven forbid, someone like that exists on the Outer Banks.

Rondo,
It is clear that you and the View are setting yourself up as trolls for Mr. X and his obxblog. As such, we assume you will be receptive to the following comments.
Mr. X claims anonymity by comparing himself to a newspaper editor. Yet, a newspaper has a masthead and provides its readers with a source for rebuttal.  No so with Mr. X.  Likewise, a newspaper and/or editor does not write a column one day and edit and re-write it the next day.  In our opinion, Mr. X needs to see a head-doctor who can prescribe a way for him to cross his t's, dot his i's and spellcheck his
ramblings.  Otherwise, on occasions, he makes good sense.

[View from the Ridge] New comment on $82 Million redux.

Overwash has left a new comment on your post "$82 Million redux":

Mayor Bob,
As you can see, I am a newcomer to Dare County politics and I really want to become a mover and a shaker. Do you know anyone in the county who can introduce me to the right people, right contacts, and get me some power and influence?
I am willing to pay into the 6 figures for the right kind of contacts. I can be emailed at ...overwash@gmail.com...and I or my assistant, Mr. Undercoat will respond as necessary.

[View from the Ridge] New comment on Thoughts on off shore drilling (grin).

Overwash has left a new comment on your post "Thoughts on off shore drilling (grin)":

Mr.Barry,
I find it appalling, but not surprising, that you, a New Yorker, would "trade" off the rights to drill of the North Carolina coast in order to save your crappy NC beach cottage. What gall!
And, Mr.Bob, I must disagree...I don't believe such a trade-off will ever happen; simply because (and thank goodness) there will be more people in the mix (unlike "Brockway"--who don't want either...

Overwash has left a new comment on your post "Learning my Lessons again":

Don't let the "split-personalities" over at the OBXRepublic scare you, Paula.
They are plumb scared out of their pants (so I hear).
